How to Connect a Cable Modem

Step 1 -  Connect the coaxial cable, power and Ethernet or USB cables to the cable modem in the ports labeled for each.

Step 2 -  Verify that the modem is receiving signal by observing the modem’s indicator lights on the front of the modem.

Step 3 - Insert the installation CD into your computer and follow the on-screen directions.  (If necessary)
